Cooking Instructions: Cooking time depends on the size and number of ravioli cooked at one time. All of the pasta products are IQF and therefore, they stay separated and do not stick together unless they are defrosted or left out. All IQF pasta products should be cooked from the frozen state in sufficient boiling water that has been salted. Drain the pasta but never rinse.
Grandé Ravioli: Bring water back to a boil once frozen ravioli is dropped in and cook 3 ½-4 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
Standard Ravioli: Bring water back to a boil once frozen ravioli is dropped in and cook 2-3 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
Mini Ravioli: Bring water back to a boil once frozen mini ravioli is dropped in and cook for 3 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
Tortellini: Bring water back to a boil once frozen tortellini is dropped in and cook 3 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
Linguine & Fettuccine: Bring water back to a boil once frozen linguine or fettuccine is dropped in and cook 3 minutes. Drain but do not rinse.
Gnocchi: Bring water back to a boil once frozen gnocchi is dropped in and cook until gnocchi float back to the top of the water. Drain but do not rinse.
Sauce Instructions: The instructions are the same on all of our sauces and alfredo. Let the sauce or alfredo slacken out and then heat over low to moderate heat until thoroughly heated through.
Pesto Instructions: The pesto should be allowed to thaw and used cold or heated over low to moderate heat if recipe requires a heated pesto or if combined with our alfredo to make a sauce for pasta.
